The Author Explains

I dreamt I won a huge jackpot in a casino, and not once, but twice.  I walked off from my first huge win blissed and amazed, went looking for Gabriel, stopped at a slot pull and won twice as much again… and I had almost the same dream a few nights ago, though it was set in a Japanese arcade.  It’s not so much that I’ve had incredible fortune lately as just that I feel incredibly fortunate.
