Shy? Cynical?

If you’re shy and cynical, or perhaps one or the other, or if you just like good, strange fiction, pick up Love Songs for the Shy and Cynical by our good friend Rob Shearman.  It’s a treasure trove of horror and sentiment, joy and bitterness.

George Clooney’s Mustache alternately made me shudder and smirk with cruel delight, The Hidden Story had me weeping in the middle of a crowded airport, Crumble made my heart ache deep into the night, and Sweet Nothings had me laughing for days.

It’s a book I recommend unreservedly to all my lovely Valentines!
(That means you.)  <3

Love Songs for the Shy and Cynical is available from Big Finish.

Procrastination…

Hey!  This is a fun webcomic.

Horrifyingly Stupid… Yet Addictive!

To all my snowbound friends…

I’ve been spending mornings on my lovely fourth floor balcony, drinking coffee and lounging in the sun.  SoCal is currently enjoying highs around 70F and lows of about 45F, with clear blue skies and a light ocean breeze day after day…  We’re currently accepting applications from winter refugees.  My apartment’s small, but I have a very comfy couch, JSYK.

Ephemera

I’ve always loved scrapbooks.  I collect little bits and pieces, movie tickets and news clippings, photographs I’ve found on the street.  I always want to put them together, but by then the moment has passed…

Totally made my day.
